Preamble
Maintenance of security in Government institutions continues to be a key indicator of the level of preparedness and response by government on unforeseen circumstances. In an increasingly globalised and complex society, there is an impetus to ensure that security officers sharpen their skills in handling their core mandate. With the growing spectre of disasters which have continued to claim lives and destroy properties and assets, there is a tremendous need to re-tool security officers.
