Performance Appraisal System Course ends

Public Officers from the Ministry of Lands underwent a Performance Appraisal System Course at KIA. This was a 5 day program which commenced on 28th of Sept 2009. It attracted 20 participants all drawn from different departments in the Ministry.

In his opening remarks the Director of Administration in the Ministry, Mr. Karoli Ooko said that besides the knowledge and skills that the public officers would acquire in performance appraisal in the public service, they were expected to become the champions of the same in the Ministry.

This is in line with government policy of performance contracting where rewards are pegged on individual performance. The course ended on 3rd October 2009 and was officially closed by Mr. Zablon Mabea, the Commissioner of Lands.
