KIA comes second in the 2009 Public Service Week | Print |  E-mail

For the third time in a row, KIA won the first runners up award in the State Corporations showcasing category at the Public Service Week. This is one of the most prestigious awards given to organizations for outstanding showcasing of their products, excellent interaction with visitors at their stands and elaboration of their mandates to the public. KIA showcased e – learning and video conferencing in line with the theme Modernizing Public Service towards realization of the Kenya Vision 2030’.


Over three hundred (300) guests visited the KIA stand. The Kenya Public Service Week is set aside to highlight the contribution of the Public Service to the development process of the Nation. This year’s public service week was held on 13th – 15th October 2009 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre open grounds. Ministries and State Corporations had stands showcasing their work/products. This offers citizens an opportunity to visit, interact and ask questions to help them understand the mandates of various Ministries and Departments.
