Senior Management Course No. 164/2010 comes to a close at KIA Print E-mail

The Senior Management Course No. 164 ended on Friday 26 February 2010. The 29 participants who attended the course were drawn from various ministries. The closing ceremony was graced by Ambassador Albert Musasia, Director of Immigration, Ministry of State for Immigration and Registration of Persons. Also in attendance, were Mr. Nganatha Karugu (Coordinator - Special Programs, KIA), and Humphrey Mokaya (Ag Head, Public Administration, Management and Leadership, KIA).
In his speech, Amb Musasia stated that the Ministry of State for Immigration and Registration of Persons is keen on training and has reached out to officers working in other countries in order for them to attend the Induction training at KIA

He added that Kenya needs managers and leaders who are sufficiently equiped to champion Results Based Management in the Public Service and to achieve Vision 2030.
The purpose of the training, he said, is to improve service delivery to Kenyans; what Kenyans want are systems which are efficient and effective in service delivery, he added. He challenged the graduates to apply strategic thinking in their work place.
