Secretarial Management Training comes to an end Print E-mail

An effective an efficient secretary is an important asset to an organization. Today’s secretary requires knowledge and skills way beyond the technical competence. They are managers of their offices and therefore need to build capacity in managing resources. KIA offers a course in Secretarial Management Training. Contents of the course include work planning and organization, total quality management and the secretary as a manager.
On Friday 29 January 2010, twenty (20) participants graduated in the Secretarial Management Training course. The participants were drawn from various ministries and parastatals. On completion of the course the participants understand the concepts, principles and functions of management and the managerial roles of a secretary. The target group for the course is sectaries working for middle and senior managers.
