JOB TITLE:               SENIOR LECTURER FINANCE

RESPONSIBLE TO:    DEPUTY DIRECTOR, BD


JOB PURPOSE
To enhance the Institute’s capacity to carry out quality Training, Research and Consultancy Services aimed at improving public service performance
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    To design, develop and deliver a range of programmes of study at various levels
2.    To review course content and materials regularly
3.    To ensure course contents and delivery comply with quality standards of the institute
4.     To set mark and asses work examination and provide accurate feedback
5.    Prepare training materials for courses delivered such as training manuals, course notes, audio visual aids etc
6.    Initiates collaborative research and consultancy assignments
7.    Carry out any other assignments as may be assigned from time to time

COMPETENCIES SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Be able to demonstrate:

•    Masters degree in any relevant field is essential.
•    At least three years experience in training
•    Possession of training of trainers certificate
•    Possession of CPA(K) is an added advantage 
•    Excellent inter personal and communication skills
•    Must be a team player
•    In depth knowledge of and insight into national development priorities, and functions and practices of government will be an added advantage
